Features

  • Public API keys. This release changes how the SDK handles API keys. The SDK now accepts the new public pk_ key and reads your region (US or EU) from it, so you no longer need to set the region yourself. Secret sk_ keys are refused and the SDK won't start with one, because secret keys must never ship inside an app. To upgrade, create a public pk_ key in Customer.io and pass it where you pass your API key today. When you switch keys, the SDK keeps the current user and any events not yet sent. Existing keys keep working and default to the US region. (#925) (b5bc060)
