MSS Toolbox 2.0.3 is a corrective update to Release 2.0.2.

Enhancements

  • Added support for selecting custom vessel MAT-files in the hydrodynamic-vessel configuration interface.
  • Moved the static accelerometer and magnetometer attitude functions from GNC to INS/functions.

Corrections

  • Corrected the 3-DOF Coriolis and centripetal matrix in m2c.m for coupled mass matrices by using the complete momentum vector (M\nu).
  • Corrected the Otter pontoon hydrostatics and the forward/reverse propeller allocation in SIMotter.m and exOtter.m.
  • Corrected the static roll, pitch, and magnetic-heading calculations for MSS forward-starboard-down body axes and North-East-Down navigation axes.
  • Improved the consistency and round-trip accuracy of the ECEF/LLH coordinate transformations.
  • Corrected the ALOS3D projection operator.
  • Corrected the OSV surge-damping implementation so that linear damping is preserved between model evaluations.
  • Added lower-bound handling to the Hoerner cross-flow coefficient lookup.
  • Corrected the recommended JONSWAP validity-range check.
  • Corrected parameter descriptions, physical-constant comments, and related documentation.
