This incremental release includes the following updates:

  • Updated the testShip and LAUV Marie MAT-files from MSS-Capytaine v1.1.
  • Replaced surface-vessel kappa_126 percentage inputs with T_126 surge, sway, and yaw time constants in seconds for viscous damping specifications. Updated computeManeuveringModel, simulation defaults, and examples.
  • Retained support for previously saved kappa_126 inputs with a warning when damping arguments are omitted. Explicit three-element damping arguments now represent T_126 in seconds. The submerged four-time-constant input T_1236 interface is unchanged.
  • Refocused the hydrodynamic simulation GUI on testing exported Capytaine MAT-files, with LAUV Marie as the initial custom model, TestShip as a demonstration, and imported ShipX/WAMIT data labeled by solver.
  • Updated documentation for damping inputs and the single-MAT-file workflow. Geometry verification remains in MSS-Capytaine.
