New Features

Interactive Greenscreen Customization Panel

The web interface (index.html) now includes a comprehensive customization panel, designed for users who use the page as a real-time subtitle overlay in streaming software.

  • Activation: The panel can be toggled by pressing the H key. A temporary toast message appears on page load to inform users of this new feature.
  • Live Styling Controls: The panel allows for real-time adjustments to the visual appearance of the overlay. Users can modify:
    • Greenscreen Background: Change the background color using a color picker or by entering a color name/hex code.
    • Font Customization: Select a font family from a predefined list or enter a custom font name.
    • Font Size: Adjust the subtitle font size using a slider or a number input.
    • Text Visibility: Use checkboxes to toggle the display of the original, translated, and transcribed text fields independently.
    • Caption Box Styling: Customize the background color, opacity level, and text color for the subtitle boxes.
  • Sharable URL Generation: As settings are adjusted, the panel generates a unique URL that includes all customization parameters. This URL can be copied and used directly in broadcasting software like OBS to load the overlay with the desired custom styles.
