1.17.0 "Chancellor" (Released 9/9/25)
Released 9/9/25, Compatible with vanilla patch 1.17.X
Besides updating to the 1.17 and the new DLC, VIET 1.17.0 also commemorates the 5th anniversary of CK3 VIET, with 10 new events related to councilors! It's surreal to think over half a decade has passed, but I thank everyone again for your continued support and encouragement – I'm sure there will be many more years of VIET content to come.

Installation Instructions
DO NOT manually download the master branch unless you know what you're doing as it is a WIP version and not necessarily stable!
- Go to https://github.com/cybrxkhan/VIET-Events-for-CK3/releases and find the latest version you wish to download.
- Extract the "VIET" folder and "VIET.mod" file from the .zip file to Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod
- Launch CKIII and select VIET in the launcher.
- Enjoy and play!
The mod folder should look something like this:
NOTE: If you are re-installing a mod, delete the old version of the mod first before copy and pasting the new one! While it's not always necessary, it's a good habit to do to prevent any potential issues.
