Situation
The currently used npm package @octokit/core@6.1.4, the client for GitHub's REST APIs, was released in Feb 2025. In the meantime @octokit/core@7.0.6 is the latest version, released on Oct 31, 2025.
This is a housekeeping update, in preparation for migrating the action to
