What's Changed

This update introduces significant improvements to Bard, Dancer and Puppetmaster, augments the target widget with more information about the enemy, and adds quality of life improvements like keyboard shortcuts. Check out the release notes for v10.1.1 for a list of other features that have recently been added.

This update requires a new job settings file for Puppetmaster. Backups of your old job settings files will be saved in addons/Trust/data/backups folder).

If you are updating from a version before 7.8.4
The directory structure of the Trust add-on has been simplified to remove the base addons folder (previous: addons/Trust, new: Trust). When updating Trust, copy and paste the contents of trust.zip into your existing addons/Trust folder (see Setup for more details). Get help in the Cyrite Game Studios Discord.

Installer

There is a new version of the installer. If you are using the installer, please download the new version and unzip it to your Desktop.

Bard

Slow and steady doesn't win the race when your nitro timer is ticking down. This update improves singing speeds by up to 40%, allowing you to spend less time singing and more time doing whatever else a Bard does in their free time. Additionally, we know getting the Bard trust set up can be difficult, so a Diagnostics tool has been added to help you debug!

• Singing speeds improved by up to 40%.
• Diagnostics tooling has been added under Settings → Songs → Diagnostics that will sing through songs and help you determine why your Bard isn't singing 3/4 songs.

Dancer

Dancer is just a better dressed Thief, right? Wrong! Dancer has a unique ability to debuff an enemy with steps, allowing it to apply defense down, evasion down and more. This update builds on top of the Gambit system and allows you to use steps based on what daze level is currently applied to the enemy.

• Tracks the level of Sluggish Daze, Lethargic Daze and Weakened Daze on the enemy.
• HasDazeCondition has been added, which allows you to perform actions based on the level of each daze applied to the enemy.
• Logic for Box Step has been moved to Settings → Gambits → Dancer.

Puppetmaster

Last but not least, this update makes it easier to manage different attachment sets for your Automaton buddy using the menu under Settings → Automaton → Attachments. Use the default sets provided or make your own!

• Default attachment sets have been Settings → Automaton → Attachments → Default.
• Overdrive attachment sets have been Settings → Automaton → Attachments → Overdrive.
• Custom attachment sets can be created under Settings → Automaton → Attachments → Custom.
• Maneuvers can now be edited in the UI under Settings → Automaton → Maneuvers.

⭐ Did you know? Trust will automatically assign your Automaton a pet type based on the equipped head/frame (Tank, LightTank, Melee, Ranged, HybridRanged, Nuke, Magic, Heal). Trust now provides a default attachment set and maneuver set for each.

Target Widget

The target widget now shows even more info about select enemies.

• Elemental resistance info will be shown when targeting select monsters (more to be added).

Shortcuts

Need to quickly change a Mode or a Skillchain? Easily navigate directly to the menu using keyboard shortcuts. NOTE: keyboard shortcuts are off by default, and can be enabled by navigating to respective menu, clicking on Shortcuts and turning Keyboard Shortcut to On.

• Shift + S will now open the Skillchains editor.
• Shift + M will now open the Modes editor.
• Shift + B will now open the Buffs editor.
• Shift + T will now focus on the Trust Status widget.
• Shortcut keys can be customized by changing the Key and Secondary Key under the respective Shortcuts menu.

⭐ Did you know? You can now press Shift + T to focus on the Trust Status widget and use the arrow/enter keys to open the menu, change mode sets or turn Trust on and off without having to use the mouse.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed issue where Bard songs editor would not update the correct set.
• Fixed issue where attachments would not equip
• Fixed regression in songs editor when changing song duration, num songs, time between songs
