What's Changed
This update brings improvements to Bard, making singer faster and more reliable with less setup! Check out the previous releases for a list of other features that have recently been added.
Bard
Bard is a complicated job and getting singing to work properly can be difficult. This update overhauls the underlying logic of singing to use Gambits, making it more reliable and easier to understand what's going on under the hood. While there is no substitute to understanding fundamentals like how songs overwrite each other, it drastically simplifies the setup by automatically determining settings like song duration and maximum number of songs.
- Song Duration will now automatically be determined based on the gear you have equipped at the time of cast
- Maximum Number of Songs will now automatically be determined based on the gear in your inventory or wardrobes (e.g. Daurdabla, Terpander, Miracle Cheer, etc.)

- You no longer need to specify jobs on songs
- Pianissimo songs will now override the lowest duration song and will not attempt to re-pianissimo any of the main songs afterwards (whatever gets overridden gets overridden)
- Specify when to resing songs by setting Resing Threshold under Settings → Songs → Config
- Specify whether to resing missing songs with Pianissimo by setting Resing Missing Songs under Settings → Songs → Config
⭐One of the primary objectives of this update is to minimize song loops and the amount of time your Bard spends singing unnecessary songs. As such, the recommended configuration is to turn Resing Missing Songs OFF and AutoPianissimoMode OFF unless you need them.
Song Duration
Previously, you had to specify the duration of your songs in order for Trust to properly track them. Now, the duration for each song will be automatically determined based on the gear you have equipped at the time the song finishes casting. You can see current list of songs on each party member and their durations under Status → Songs.
Maximum Number of Songs
Previously, you had to specify the maximum number of songs you could sing without Clarion Call. Now, the maximum number of songs will be automatically determined based on the gear you have in your inventory or wardrobes. Note that you still need to set up your GearSwap properly to use these items. If you do not want to use them, take them out of your inventory and wardrobes.

Resing Threshold
When any song tics below the specified duration, all songs will be resung. In the example below, when the remaining duration of any song is less than 85 seconds, it will resing songs.
Resing Missing Songs
Previously, if a party member missed songs, got knocked out and lost all of their songs or had a song dispeled, your Trust would reapply the songs using Pianissimo. Sometimes, this could result in the Bard singing a dozen or more Pianissimo songs. You can now toggle this behavior on and off by setting Resing Missing Songs under Settings → Songs → Config. It is recommended to keep this setting OFF unless absolutely necessary to avoid unnecessary singing. To force a resing, you can use // trust brd resing instead.
UI
A countdown timer has been added to the Bard widget indicating the number of seconds remaining before your Bard starts resining songs. Make sure your party is in range before it counts down to 0!
