Incognito toggle for Codex desktop.

Changelog

  1. Reliable macOS startup: Private windows preserve the official startup sequence, avoiding overlapping launch ownership and a stale-owner delay that could disrupt initialization of language, onboarding, and window controls.

  2. Natural close cleanup: Closing a macOS private window with the red button stops its owned process and removes the isolated session; minimizing keeps it available to resume.

  3. Official notifications and tooltips: Privacy banners and launch warnings reuse Codex components, styles, and animations; the banner follows the current home composer, while tooltip preparation shares source reads and renderer capabilities.

  4. Consistent hat rendering: The original hat-glasses lines render as one path with the host's color and opacity across installed and standalone private-window entry points.

  5. Windows startup hardening: Installed-window readiness tolerates delayed optional UI, retains pending opens until actual readiness, and preserves the running official app when injection fails; Store package-change recovery gains bounded diagnostics and stronger package and Runtime identity checks.

  6. Concurrent Windows cache publication: A brief sharing violation while another publisher holds directory handles now retries within one bounded window; existing cache contents are still verified and persistent contention still fails safely.

Upgrade: Run inc update to update the CLI and Runtime. On macOS, an older patched app needs incodex uninstall followed by incodex install to replace its loader and use the startup fix. Windows app integration adds an experimental current-user login observer; incodex uninstall removes that entry and stops it.

Known limitations: On macOS, the optional app integration still prevents official Appshot from working until incodex uninstall. Automatic Windows Store integration recovery remains experimental; its first cold launch after a real Store update is not yet verified. After an official Codex update, fully quit Codex and run incodex install again for the current package.

  6. Windows 缓存并发发布：另一发布者占用目录句柄造成短暂共享冲突时，在同一个有界窗口内重试；现有缓存仍需完整校验，持续占用仍安全失败。

升级方式：运行 inc update 更新 CLI 和 Runtime。macOS 旧版已安装应用需先运行 incodex uninstall，再运行 incodex install 更新加载器，才能使用启动修复。Windows 应用集成会新增实验性的当前用户登录观察程序；incodex uninstall 移除该入口并停止它。

已知限制：macOS 的可选应用集成仍会使官方智能快照不可用，运行 incodex uninstall 后恢复。Windows Store 集成自动恢复仍为实验能力，真实 Store 更新后的首次冷启动尚未验收。官方 Codex 更新后，请完全退出 Codex，再对当前包运行 incodex install。
