Coordinator User Guide

A Quick start up guide for coordinators

As a team coordinator you have the following rights:

  • Add and remove team members
  • Commit and reject uploaded files

Manage

After login in, you are presented with your Profile, there you have a list of the teams you are part of. Click on the team (language) name.

You'll see a Manage button, go ahead and click on it.

Now you have a list with all the team members, the regular members are identified with a blue icon (user), the committers a green icon ( committer), and the coordinators with a black one (coordinator).

[add group - remove group] add/remove the user to/from the coordinators group (only project maintainers have the right to remove coordinators)

[add group - remove group] add/remove the user to the committers list

[book add - book delete] add or remove grants to update the glossary (this is not team specified, the user is allowed to modify the glossary for all teams of which is a member)

On the right, a search box will help you to find a particular user (by username), just type at least 3 letters and hit ENTER. Click on the user to add it to the members list.

File Submission Permissions

file submit

  • Review all commits: will require all users to send their files to view reviewed by the team coordinator.
  • Allow users to submit to repository: the users with commit rights (committers) can send the files directly to the repository, without the intervention of the coordinator.

The files are committed using a project level username/password for the repository. There is no need to enter the repository credentials each time.

Manual editions (using the on-line editor) will always be sent for review.

The submit queue

On the team page, there is a table with all the files uploaded by the members waiting to be committed to the svn. Select the files you want and click Submit or Reject. If you click Submit, you'll need to enter your subversion username and password if no credentials are saved at project level. The commit process is on the fly, so it could take some time if you selected a lot of files.
