Soufflé v0.8.3
Meetings keep your voice after a dock reboot, calendar stays current, ghost tap devices are gone, and dictation shows up on fullscreen Spaces.
Fixed
- Restarting a docking station mid-meeting left Soufflé transcribing Teams but not you. The microphone now reconnects without quitting the app.
- Today's calendar events only refreshed if you restarted Soufflé. New invites and the next day now show up on their own.
- A pile of "Souffle Tap" entries showed up in the microphone list. Those private system-audio devices are hidden and leftover ones are cleaned up on launch.
- The dictation pill stayed on the desktop Space. It now appears over a fullscreen app, with live text.
Notes for testing
- Start a meeting, restart the dock (or unplug/replug the dock mic). Your voice should come back; if it cannot, you should see "Microphone lost; still recording system audio."
- Add a calendar event for today without restarting: it appears on the home list.
- After a meeting, Settings should not list "Souffle Tap". Restarting the app should sweep leftovers.
- Fullscreen another app and dictate: the pill is visible on that Space with live text.
