Initial Release of Agi Automate!

We are excited to release the first version of Agi Automate, a 100% local AI assistant that watches, learns, and automates your computer tasks.

Installation Instructions for Binaries (.dmg / .exe)

IMPORTANT: This application requires a one-time setup of local AI models and Python dependencies to function.

1. Download the appropriate file for your OS below:
   • macOS: Agi-Automate-1.0.0.dmg
   • Windows: Agi-Automate-Setup-1.0.0.exe
2. Install Prerequisites:
   • Ensure you have [Python 3.9+](https://www.python.org/downloads/) installed.
   • Open a terminal/command prompt and run:

     pip install -r requirements.txt
     python download_models.py

   (Note: The initial model download is ~5GB)
3. Run the App: Launch the installed application and start automating!

Known Issues & Troubleshooting

• If the backend fails to start, check that port 8000 is free.
• On macOS, if audio recording fails, you may need to install portaudio: brew install portaudio.
