Press and holding left/right should bring up the desired progress time rather than the number of seconds that have gone by

Description

Right now, holding left/right brings up a total number of seconds that have gone back or forth. The following should occur instead:

The time UI should be the desired time in the video rather than the number of seconds that have passed while holding. I don't need "930 seconds have gone by" I need to know the time in the video I am currently scrubbing to, like "1 hour 30 seconds" similar to the full player UI when scrubbing.

I appreciate us having press and hold to advance but it needs this tweak to be more informative.

The skipping with d-pad is supposed to minimalist for quick seeking. There is a small progress bar shown at bottom of the screen too.

Opening the playback controls and using the seek bar is better if you're seeking for a specific timestamp.

I use both and I prefer seeing the relative number of seconds for the d-pad seek because it's typically wanting to skip back for a scene or skip over a scene. But maybe changing it to show minutes & seconds could be better though, eg 930=>15m30s.

Honestly I'd rather have the desired time but yes this is a step in the right direction. The second count is too impractical.

I agree that would be more intuitive.

Personally though I'd instead prefer to see Trickplay images in that position instead (cheeky plug) as the timebar along the bottom already gives me a reasonable enough idea of where I am in the video and if I need anything more precise can bring up the full UI. I prefer not to do this if just 'casually' skipping around though.
