Eclipse

Import the the library/ folder as Existing Android Code Into Workspace. Then, in your application project properties, add the created project under the Libraries section of the Android category.

Setup your project

1- Create an application in Twitter to get your consumer key and consumer secret. Here is a good tutorial to create an application in Twitter.

2- Add your consumer key and consumer secret to the AndroidManifest.xml of your application:

    ...

    <application>

        ...

        <meta-data
            android:name="com.twitt4droid.auth.CONSUMER_KEY"
            android:value="YOUR_CONSUMER_KEY" />
        <meta-data
            android:name="com.twitt4droid.auth.CONSUMER_SECRET"
            android:value="YOUR_CONSUMER_SECRET" />

        ...

    </application>

    ...

</manifest>

3- Your app also needs this permissions in order to use twitt4droid:

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />
