HAVC installer v2.1.0
HAVC installer v2.1.0 — new "Mux all streams" option in the GUI.
The Encode/Merge tab has a new checkbox, Mux all streams.
When enabled, the final mkvmerge step also copies the other tracks of the source video (audio, subtitles and chapters) into the output MKV (the source's video track is dropped; the freshly encoded one wins). It applies to every final mux: x265 / x264 / NVEnc encode, the Video Merge step, and the Fix Video recolor. Off by default, so existing behavior is unchanged; the setting is saved in the GUI settings file.
Start here:
- HAVC-Setup-2.1.0.exe — HAVC Manager installer wizard (single-file, self-contained: no .NET runtime needed). Windows SmartScreen may warn (Windows protected your PC → More info → Run anyway); the exe is not code-signed yet. sha256: b20414a29d8fd503541d41bd061891351f860fbdc6ec4d4e905329752a87755d
- havc-2.1.0-py3-none-any.whl — HAVC server stack wheel: the content the manager installs (its version follows the installer). sha256: 6848133741f55b825031eccfe592d7dd21723a7a5069c0c1e1fab61e0d9396e8
- release.json — the release manifest read by the installer/manager (sha256 for every artifact). The pinned packages and the ComfyUI runtime live in the stable asset release HAVC Assets v1.0.0; vscmnet2 comes from its own project release dan64/vs-cmnet2 v1.2.1.
Requirements: Windows 10/11, NVIDIA RTX 30/40/50, CUDA 13.0+. Model weights (tens of GB for the largest configs) are downloaded on first use and preserved across updates.
Notes: to update an existing installation, run the setup (or the installed HAVC Manager): it opens the HAVC is already installed page - click "Check for updates" there, as the new hint now says. Existing 2.0.x installs update in place; the GUI settings file gains one key (mux_all_streams), so the manager may offer the Update GUI settings prompt once (Yes = replace, previous file kept as .bak; No = keep). Installer releases (and their wheel) stay on the 2.x.x line; the 1.x.x tags are reserved for asset buckets.
