Summary

0.3.0 updates @dangoldbj/openclaw-simplex for the current OpenClaw plugin SDK and expands the SimpleX action/admin surface without changing the plugin id or channel id.

This is a minor release. Existing installs should continue using:

• plugin id: simplex
• channel id: simplex
• config path: channels.simplex

• Migrated the plugin to the current OpenClaw 2026.3.28 SDK surface.
• Added first-class shared message support for upload-file.
• Expanded shared message action discovery with explicit schemas for SimpleX-owned actions.
• Added plugin tools for invite and group administration:

Docs / UX changes

• Removed outdated documentation that implied native Control UI invite buttons existed for this plugin.
• Updated the docs to recommend direct simplex-chat commands for manual invite/address management:
  • /c
  • /ad
  • /show_address
  • /delete_address
• Kept simplex.invite.create, simplex.invite.list, and simplex.invite.revoke documented as the automation path.

Compatibility

• Minimum supported OpenClaw version is now 2026.3.28.
• This release does not rename the plugin id or channel id.
• No config migration is required for existing channels.simplex users.

Notes

• The plugin-id mismatch warning is still unresolved in this release because the plugin/channel id rename was intentionally deferred to a later breaking-change release.
