Edge Extension v2026.4.0 cannot login to Vaultwarden 1.36.0, older extension works

Seems like you entered a wrong email address, because that most likely should have been @gmail.com.

If you enable the /admin page you can check in the Users overview what mail address is registered.

I confirm the bug, don't know why but newer version of extension when your first register a self hosted server try to POST on

/identity/accounts/prelogin/password/

which leads to 404 even on latest Vaultwarden version

To make it work I had to put this rewrite rule in my front reverse proxy and works fine:

rewrite ^/identity/accounts/prelogin/password/?$ /identity/accounts/prelogin last;

I think Vaultwaden is just missing this route (or maybe it's undocumented from BitWarden)

That means that you are not using the latest Vaultwarden version because we implemented this already, cf. #7156

right. sorry for confusion, I pulled latest docker image but didn't redeploy service, so I was still on previous version... my bad
