AskHere 1.0.1 for macOS

Unofficial macOS GUI for the Grok CLI — projects, conversations, live sessions, flags, and resume.

Not affiliated with xAI.

What's new

  • Install UX: live CLI console, progress bar, elapsed timer (install can take a few minutes)
  • All projects: conversation list shows every project and stays global when you open a chat
  • Missing CLI recovery: if grok is uninstalled mid-session, return to the installer instead of a stuck logged-in shell
  • Logout works without a binary (clears local session + installer)

Install

  1. Download AskHere.dmg
  2. Drag AskHere to Applications
  3. Open the app (right-click → Open if Gatekeeper prompts)
  4. Install/sign in to Grok CLI when asked
