GodTerm 0.2.1
GodTerm runs many interactive Claude Code (and Grok Build) sessions side by side, each signed in to its own account, with live usage for every account, a session browser, and a voice assistant that can drive it all. Free and open source under the MIT License.
What's new in 0.2.1
- Ask the agent: "ask the api tab why the build fails" sends one prompt to that tab, and when the tab's turn ends its answer is told back to you in a sentence or two. It waits while you talk, batches answers, and "never mind" cancels.
- Status from the conversation: status questions start from the tab's own recent turns (a new
recent_turnstool), and files are read only when you ask about the code. - Quieter voice: no spoken narration ("Let me check..."), and spoken answers stop after two sentences with "Want the rest?" (say "more").
- Fixed: a delegated answer is no longer lost when the assistant cannot start.
- The blue crystal icon on macOS, Windows and Linux.
- Stable download names: every file also has a version-less copy (for example
GodTerm-macos-universal.dmg), soreleases/latest/download/<name>links keep working.
Install
GodTerm needs the Claude Code CLI (claude) on your PATH.
macOS
brew install --cask daniel-farina/godterm/godterm # GodTerm.app plus the godterm command
brew install daniel-farina/godterm/godterm # or only the commandOr download GodTerm-0.2.1-macos-universal.dmg (or the arm64 / x86_64 one) below and drag GodTerm to Applications. Every app and DMG is signed with a Developer ID, notarized by Apple and stapled.

sudo apt install ./godterm_0.2.1_amd64.deb # Debian, Ubuntu (or _arm64.deb)
sudo dnf install ./godterm-0.2.1-1.x86_64.rpm # Fedora, RHEL, openSUSE (or .aarch64.rpm)
chmod +x GodTerm-0.2.1-x86_64.AppImage && ./GodTerm-0.2.1-x86_64.AppImage # any distroThe tarballs hold just the godterm binary (it needs libasound2). Homebrew on Linux works too: brew install daniel-farina/godterm/godterm.
Windows 10 (1803+) and 11, x86_64
Run GodTerm-0.2.1-windows-x64-setup.exe (a per user install with a Start menu entry and an optional PATH entry), or unzip godterm-0.2.1-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc.zip.
SmartScreen: the Windows installer and exe are not code signed yet, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway. Check the download against
SHA256SUMSfirst if you like.
Verify
shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS --ignore-missinggodterm --version prints the version, the commit and the build date.
