Browser demo

The same window compiled to WebAssembly runs in a browser, so no native graphics libraries are needed. The binary embeds it.

galapagos serve
# or
just serve

serve hosts the demo and opens a browser. This works on every platform, including Linux without OpenGL/X11 and macOS builds without the native window.

Building the WebAssembly bundle

just wasm

That compiles the demo to WebAssembly and stages the web/ directory.

When to use which

Situation Use
macOS with the cask installed Native window
Linux, or no display libraries galapagos serve
Long training runs --headless — see Environments
Sharing a demo with someone galapagos serve
