@danielriege danielriege released this 10 Oct 13:13

The first release.

reqdeck keeps both sides of the V-model in your git repo: what to build — open questions you decide, requirements derived from the answers — and the proof it was built, traced to code and tests with @REQ_REF markers. Written for working with AI agents, so the agent drafts and recommends, and you decide and review.

pip install reqdeck
cd your-project && reqdeck init
  • reqdeck init sets a project up: the shape of your requirement tree, one CSV per part, an OPEN-QUESTIONS.md, and the agent skills copied into .claude/skills/ and .agents/skills/.
  • reqdeck tui — requirements as documents with numbered sections, vim keys, links you tab through and preview, code references that open in your editor, lazygit-style themes.
  • The CLI — get, search, list, coverage, trace, check, questions, add, edit and more, every command with --json.
  • Skills for Claude Code and Codex: reqdeck-cli and reqdeck-method. Also a Claude Code plugin: /plugin install reqdeck --marketplace danielriege/reqdeck.

Try it on the example: git clone https://github.com/danielriege/reqdeck && cd reqdeck/examples/tick && reqdeck tui.
