Roadmap

v1.0

The v1 completion target is:

  • terminal source outcomes for all tracked states, DC, and major territories;
  • stable canonical, adapter, verification, CLI, and JSON contracts;
  • all implemented adapters at Level 4;
  • local-file, explicit-network, and SQLite verification;
  • hardened CSV/XLSX/network ingestion;
  • deterministic source matrix and hosted metadata seed;
  • cross-platform CI, CodeQL, dependency review, clean package installation, and signed release artifacts.

The repository currently satisfies the code-side v1 target. Release publication and recurring source maintenance remain operational work.

v1.x Maintenance

  • run scheduled source-evidence audits before nextReviewAt;
  • update adapters when official columns or status semantics change;
  • promote blocked sources only after terms, access, and stable source shape are defensible;
  • add separate source entries when materially different boards require distinct coverage semantics;
  • keep all default tests offline;
  • maintain zero unresolved high or critical security findings;
  • preserve neutral no-match language and local-first operation.

Future Major Work

  • additional local or territory sources beyond the current statewide scope;
  • Postgres export helpers that do not alter core contracts;
  • lawful, source-specific lookup adapters where no technical controls are bypassed;
  • complaint or discipline records only when source terms, semantics, privacy, and stability are independently reviewed.

Hosted license-record search, generated dataset publication, rankings, recommendations, and marketplace features remain out of scope.
