Release list
0.6.1
Fix
0.6.0 shipped with only the promotion-bug fixes (PR-1) actually merged. This release includes the inbox management features that were built and tested for 0.6.0 but never made it into main:
New
- Manual add to inbox via a new "+" icon (fuzzy search over all vault files)
- Dismiss inbox rows (per-view, or global cascade when dismissed from Global view)
- Show/Hide Dismissed toggle on the inbox header, revealing dismissed rows inline with a "hidden" badge
Also included (from 0.6.0, unaffected)
- Block/heading references ([[Note#^id]], [[Note#Heading]]) no longer wrongly auto-promote files into the inbox when the link is from inside the same top-level module
- Plain markdown links no longer wrongly auto-promote files into the inbox when the link is from inside the same top-level module

0.5.0
New Data Source: Folder, Markdown Table & CSV
- New source-type dropdown: API, Folder, Markdown Table, CSV
- Folder source: Inside Vault and Outside Vault modes, real file/module unit children, delete reconciliation by mode (append/merge/overwrite)
- Table source: Markdown Table and CSV, reusing the existing field-mapping UI
- Bug fixes: sort/truncate now applies to API-source rows; Remove and Remove-attachment actions for stale API/Table items
0.4.0
Atlas API source: new Data source modal for API-backed folders (mapping, merge/append, refresh now/on load, caching). Includes the fix for scroll position resetting on toggle/drag-and-drop interactions in the modal (see obsidian-quirks.md).
0.3.2
Atlas Explorer 0.3.2
Fixes an Obsidian community-review compatibility flag: manifest.json's minAppVersion was stale at 1.5.0 while the plugin has depended on obsidian@^1.13.1 (types) since its first release. Bumped minAppVersion to 1.13.1 to match what the plugin actually requires (workspace.getLeftLeaf's nullable return, already handled correctly in code, needs this floor). No behavioral changes.
v0.3.1
Atlas Explorer 0.3.1
Renamed from "Atlas" (id atlas) to "Atlas Explorer" (id atlas-explorer). The atlas id on the Obsidian community directory is already taken by an unrelated plugin (MisterM-Code/atlas-plugin), so this release renames ahead of the first community submission.
No functional changes — same file explorer / promotion feature set as v0.3.0.

v0.3.0
Three new ways to turn a drawing-only item into a real item on disk, without losing its place, settings or children in any view:
- Block graduation — rename a free block in the pool to a real name and it moves to the vault root automatically, with a toast confirming the move. Renaming to a name already taken at the root opens a "name it" dialog with live validation (red border and message until the name is free, green when it's clear) instead of silently failing or clobbering anything.
- Create Module — right-click a root-level file in the Atlas explorer and choose Create Module to turn it into a folder module (
<name>/<name>.md), same position, same view placement, refs rewritten. - Create > Block / File / Module on a meta folder — right-click a meta folder (a label with no file on disk) and create a real item in its place. The new item takes over the meta folder's exact position, fold state and status settings; anything nested under it stays nested, untouched on disk.
All three share one "name it" dialog: live validation, red/green border, Create disabled until the name is valid. The UI says "Create", never "promote" (that word is already used for making a nested item visible).
516 tests, all green. See docs/decisions.md for the grilling record behind this feature.

v0.2.1
Remediation release, follows directly from v0.2.0. Two fixes:
Truncated-status placeholder visual parity — the placeholder row standing in for a collapsed group of same-status items now matches a real status dot exactly: it picks up the glow effect (Design → Glow) and renders in normal, non-muted text color, instead of both being silently dropped before. The one deliberate exception: the placeholder's dot never shows a retained type icon even with Design → Retain Icons on, since a collapsed group can mix item types with no single icon that would be truthful to show.
Sort children by status — new per-governor setting in the "Statuses" modal. Ranks a governor's children by their own status's position in the status set (top of the set sorts first), with an optional Reverse order to flip it. Items sharing the same status keep their existing relative order rather than being re-alphabetized. Reaches through "Inherit to subfolders" the same way every other status setting does. A truncated group's placeholder correctly takes its sorted status's position in the list once this is on.
See docs/decisions.md for the full grilling record behind these two fixes, and TASKS.md for live-verification detail.

v0.2.0
Second tagged release. Covers everything merged since 0.1.1 (PR 10-21):
Status Sets — define named status sets (label/color/completed/cancelled per status), assign a set to any bucket item or the view root to govern its children, with inheritance down the tree (nearest-governor-wins), per-status truncation (collapse matching items into a summary row), and hide-completed/hide-cancelled filtering — all live in the rendered tree, not just captured settings.
Duplication — "Duplicate (Meta)" on any bucket item clones it (and its whole meta-nested subtree) as an independent sibling, including its own status assignment at time of duplication.
Meta-nesting via drop — any unit or meta folder can become the organizational parent of any other item by dragging one onto another's row, not just real folders.
Multi-select — shift/cmd-click to select multiple bucket or inbox rows; drag moves the whole selection together; Escape clears it; Delete removes every selected unit at once.
Drag-and-drop — the full inbox↔bucket↔inbox drag family, live-verified end to end (inbox → bucket placement, in-bucket reorder/re-nest, bucket → inbox unplace, the circular-placement guard, and the click-driven "Promote and place in view…" equivalent for module internals).
No functional regressions from 0.1.1 — see docs/decisions.md and TASKS.md for full build history, live-verification detail, and every judgement call made along the way.
