First beta of the cross-platform (Avalonia) port of DAQiFi Desktop, produced by the portomatic porting engine from the WPF app at upstream bbb34ff.

What's validated (live bench QA, 2026-07-13)

Device discovery (WiFi UDP + USB serial), connect, channel configuration, streaming, protobuf decode, SQLite persistence, and live plotting — end-to-end against a Nyquist 1 over both transports.

Quality gates on this build (5d42863)

• Adversarial audit (GPT-5.x codex adversary + Claude skeptic) over the full port diff: PASS
• Release build: 0 errors; portomatic correspondence map: 2 shards valid, 198 paired symbols / 2,467 member rows, zero unresolved drift
• Six defects found and fixed during QA, three of which also exist upstream and are filed there (daqifi-desktop#685, #686; daqifi-core#294)

Known items

• Serial discovery carries a 10s watchdog against wedged USB CDC devices; the root-cause library fix is daqifi-core#295 (merged pending release) and will replace the watchdog in a later beta.
• SD-card log format/paths and higher sample-rate soak testing have had light coverage so far.
• Windows-only artifact in this beta; the codebase is cross-platform (macOS/Linux packaging comes with the packaging track).

Install

Unzip and run Daqifi.Avalonia.exe (self-contained; no .NET install required). Settings/data live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DAQiFi.
