AEM Commander v0.3.0 - Persistence & Strategic Depth
AEM Commander v0.3.0 brings major strategic depth to the simulated battlefield. This update introduces full state persistence, allowing for multi-session campaigns where every loss, launched missile, and active flight carries over. Furthermore, new modules like civilian traffic, strategic ballistic missiles, and border choke points create a more immersive and tactically demanding environment for the AI to navigate.
📝 Changelog
- State Persistence Module: You can now save your mission progress to continue later. The system tracks destroyed units, downed pilots (CSAR), and available resources. Crucially, it saves the exact 3D position, altitude, speed, and current tactical orders of all active AI-spawned groups, restoring them seamlessly in the air or on the ground during your next session.
- Civilian Traffic Module (Optional): Injects dynamic, neutral background civilian flights traveling between designated airbases and transit zones, bringing the skies to life.
- Border Crossings (Choke Points): Added a new strategic concept for ground invasions. Ground units (Assault/Transport) are now forced to route their invasions through specific
border_crossinggoals, creating natural choke points and defined frontlines that coalitions must control. - Strategic Ballistic Missiles (Optional): Theater commanders can now authorize devastating ballistic missile strikes against high-value static targets. Ballistic missiles are treated as a limited consumable inventory that permanently depletes upon launch or if a missile depot is destroyed.
