What's New

• Direct Messages. A new Home button at the top of the server rail opens a Discord-style DM surface. Send and receive DMs through your bot, start new conversations from a cross-server member picker, see mutual servers in the conversation intro, and click "Message" on any user's profile card to jump straight into a DM with them. Offline DMs in known conversations are backfilled automatically on reconnect.
• DM notifications and unread tracking. Incoming DMs surface with unread badges on the Home tile and OS notifications. Toggle them in Settings → Notifications. DM rows show a Discord-style unread pill, bold name, and brighter preview text so you can tell at a glance which conversations are new.
• #channel typeahead in the composer. Type # to pick a channel from the current server, the same way @user and :emoji autocomplete already worked. The selection renders as a Discord-blue chip and posts as a real channel link.
• Click-to-navigate channel mentions and Discord links. Click a #channel mention or a discord.com/channels/... link inside any message and BotCord jumps straight to that channel — and the linked message — in-app. Discord links render as inline channel chips with a chat icon for message links.
• Brand color refresh. BotCord's signature green now drives the autonomy toggle, the Home tile, the scroll-to-bottom button, and every other primary-accent surface. Mentions stay Discord-blue to match Discord's own styling.
• Discord-style typography. Self-hosted Inter Variable with optical-sizing on headings, plus polished blockquote rendering (rounded bar + muted quote text) for messages that read closer to Discord.

Bug Fixes

• Unread state and mention counts now persist across restarts.
• Composer keeps focus on the input after sending so you can keep typing without re-clicking.
• Reactions removed in Discord now disappear from BotCord (previously left as stale chips).
• Pinging the bot with autonomy disabled no longer triggers a phantom "typing…" indicator in Discord.
• Tray icon unread badge is smaller, flush in the top-right corner, and uses a softer Discord-coral red.
• Server rail Home tile glyph renders reliably in dev mode (was broken by an asset path mismatch).
• Autonomy toggle's hover tooltip is no longer truncated.
