This release focuses heavily on real-world live-stream usability and expands Stream Forge's broadcast compatibility.

🎥 PRISM Live Studio Support

Stream Forge now officially supports PRISM Live Studio through the existing OBS-compatible WebSocket engine.

Live testing confirmed:

• Stream Forge connection to PRISM
• Automatic Stream Forge scene/source setup
• Scene switching and Scene Automation
• Music playback
• Alerts
• Redeems
• Viewer Song Requests
• Auto End / broadcast lifecycle
• Restart and reconnect behaviour
• Viewer-side stream audio

PRISM reuses Stream Forge's proven OBS-compatible Broadcast Engine rather than introducing a second controller.

A new Live Docks system makes it much easier to control Stream Forge while actively streaming.

🔔 Mission Control Update Notifications

Mission Control can now automatically check the public Stream Forge update channel and display a visible notification when a newer version is available.

The existing manual Check for Updates option remains available.

🧭 Focused Dock Navigation

Live docks are now focused control windows instead of miniature copies of the full Stream Forge interface.

• Main navigation is hidden inside docks
• Mission Control / Settings / About no longer clutter individual docks
• Internal navigation returns to the existing main Stream Forge window
• Prevents duplicate Mission Control windows

🔊 OBS / PRISM Audio Reminder

After automatic setup, Browser Sources that produce sound may require Control audio via OBS to be enabled manually.

Enable audio for Stream Forge sound-producing sources such as:

• Starting
• Alerts
• Redeems
• BRB
• Music
• VLC Music Bar
• Song Requests
• Ending

Logo and Gameplay Community / Avatars do not require audio.

A short Unlisted stream test is recommended before going Public.

🔄 Updating Stream Forge

After installing the new version and confirming Stream Forge opens correctly, the older downloaded installer .exe can safely be deleted.

Your Stream Forge settings, configuration and local data are stored separately and are retained during updates.

Do not delete files from the installed Stream Forge application or data folders.

⚠️ Setup Update

Version 9.4.204 contained confusing wording around OBS Scenes and Browser Source overlays.

This has now been fixed in 9.4.205, which also adds automatic OBS setup.

Once OBS WebSocket is connected to Stream Forge, Set Up OBS For Me can automatically create the recommended scenes and Stream Forge Browser Sources.
