The first public release of lolPing: League of Legends pings anywhere on your Windows desktop.

The installer isn't code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC". Select More info, then Run anyway.

What it does

  • Alt + drag opens the eight-ping wheel: Danger, Push, On My Way, All In, Assist Me, Need Vision, Enemy Missing and Enemy Vision. Let go on a slice to ping with the original animation and sound.
  • Works over any app, on every monitor and display scale. Pings appear in whole-screen capture (Discord, OBS).
  • The trigger can be Alt, Ctrl, Shift, Win, Caps Lock, Mouse 4/5 or any other key. An optional Alt + click places a generic ping.
  • Ctrl + Alt + P pauses and resumes pinging. The tray icon shows the state.
  • Settings: ping size, duration and volume, a wheel tick sound, previews of every ping, and launch at startup.
  • English and Simplified Chinese (简体中文) interface, following the Windows display language by default.

Known limitations

  • The wheel can't open over windows running as administrator, such as Task Manager.
  • Exclusive-fullscreen games draw over the overlay.
  • Sharing a single window doesn't include the pings. Share your entire screen.
