Pulse Weaver 1.14.4-alpha.5 — Game Challenges setup guide
Pulse Weaver 1.14.4-alpha.5 — Game Challenges setup guide
The Lumia setup guide shared by Build my show and Show Control's Lumia bulb now explains Custom Game Challenges 1.0.5: saved game profiles, the included 20 editable Fortnite challenges, native actions, five optional reward templates and the Next command. It covers the correct import destinations, disabled/unlinked defaults and manual Twitch reward linking. Next advances one challenge; Clear is a separate action with an explicit scope.
For a fresh plugin setup, skip PW-ALERT01-H's old challenge command bundle and disable its legacy challenge widget while retaining other alerts. The public alert templates do not automatically connect to the new plugin. Existing connected rewards and button 34 can be kept. Countdown, Newsroom, Chat Physics, Credits, stinger and companion connection instructions are retained.
Custom Game Challenges is a separate optional Lumia plugin. This Pulse Weaver update does not install it or change your rewards, prices, enabled states, queues or existing show. No new marketplace download link is claimed. The existing companion plugin and public overlay template bundle are unchanged.
Includes alpha 4's Altron support and alpha 2's configuration-preserving installer repair. Stop Pulse Weaver before running PulseWeaver-Setup-1.14.4-alpha.5.exe. Setup makes a verified backup and retains the existing configuration. Alpha builds remain opt-in through Studio → Updates → Include experimental alpha builds; the regular release remains 1.14.3.
Validation details accompany the release in VALIDATION.txt. Fresh-account public-overlay migration and real Twitch reward linking have not been certified by this guide update.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.4-alpha.4 — built-in Altron Command Centre
Pulse Weaver 1.14.4-alpha.4 — built-in Altron Command Centre
Altron teleport control is now included in the Pulse Weaver app and starts automatically. The smooth white scribble camera effect, arrival/departure sound player, destination choreography and camera-position observer run inside the app. No separate bridge window, Node installation or Lua script is required.
Download PulseWeaver-Setup-1.14.4-alpha.4.exe, close Pulse Weaver, then run setup. The configuration-preserving installer backs up the existing installation and retains settings. If an old standalone Altron bridge is running, close it once so the built-in controller can use its localhost port.
Set up Altron
- Open Studio → Tools → Altron Command Centre.
- Select your working background-removed camera scene/source and alert layer, then click Create / use Altron show.
- In the separately supplied Lumia avatar plugin, select Pulse Weaver Stage and SAVE. TEST your existing Altron command or call it from a Lumi-Con key.
Setup creates or upgrades the dedicated Altron helpers and adds its Stage without replacing existing Stage assignments or original camera transforms. The previous dedicated Lua filter remains a disabled backup. Arrival/departure sounds are user-supplied, with volume, delay and optional monitoring controls.
The private Lumia plugin/overlay still provides artwork, backgrounds, Altron head placement, per-location camera positions, TTS and headphone-output monitoring. Those private assets are not included in this release. This update reuses a working camera cutout; it does not install a background-removal model.
Validation passed: native in-process control with a local Lumia mock and real libobs/audio, complete teleport choreography, Stage/camera preservation, overlap guards, camera observation, actual portable-app startup/dialog/shutdown, Pulse Weaver and OBS 32.2.2 GPU/audio output, and installer payload/configuration preservation. See the included validation report and SHA-256 checksums. This is an experimental Windows x64 alpha.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.4-alpha.2 — Installer update fix
Pulse Weaver 1.14.4-alpha.2 — Installer update fix
This alpha fixes updates that stop with “Access to the path …\config is denied”.
When the staged settings are unchanged, setup leaves the existing config folder
in place instead of renaming it. Full verified backups and rollback remain active;
changed settings and full restores still use the normal protected transaction.
Setup now displays the full alpha revision. Readonly staged copies are cleaned
without changing the original settings, and access errors explain how to retry.
The broadcast runtime, Lumia 1.4.4 plugin and wizard assets are unchanged from alpha 1.
Validation: 104 recovery checks, a real Windows directory-lock reproduction,
all rollback boundaries, payload validation, and a private copied-profile
upgrade/restore with byte-for-byte configuration preservation. Updater checks
confirm alpha 1 discovers alpha 2 and regular users receive it only when opted in.
Download PulseWeaver-Setup-1.14.4-alpha.2.exe. Close Pulse Weaver and older setup
windows, then run it. The matching source archive and SHA-256 checksums are included.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.4-alpha.1 — clearer guided setup
Build my show now uses clickable cards and clearer source questions, with previews that follow the selected stage and Look. Optional layout settings and transitions open when needed. Each stage can reuse existing inputs or add new sources; required questions show what remains, while optional questions can be skipped.
Landscape and portrait artwork stay on their intended canvas. The wizard validates Lumia browser links, duplicate show names and readable stinger video files before creating the show. Lumia guidance covers the companion plugin, supplied overlays, countdown completion commands and Chat Box Physics mode changes.
Included downloads:
- PulseWeaver-Setup-1.14.4-alpha.1.exe — Windows alpha installer; preserves your existing configuration.
- PulseWeaver-Lumia-1.4.4.lumiaplugin — Lumia companion, also included in the installer.
- PW-Wizard-Lumia-Assets-2026-10-11-r3.zip — current Lumia overlay templates and alert commands.
- SHA256SUMS.txt — download checksums.
Open Show Control → Control → Build my show… after installing. Lumia is required for the supplied overlays, countdown and widgets. The bulb on Show Control opens its setup instructions.
Validated with the native Windows build, 1,954 final wizard and preservation checks, an isolated visual walkthrough, installer self-test and a clean-package privacy audit. No account tokens, browser profiles or personal settings are included. This is an alpha preview; 1.14.3 remains the latest regular release.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.3 — Lumia guided show setup
Pulse Weaver 1.14.3 — Lumia guided show setup
Build my show now uses Lumia browser sources for artwork, countdowns, chat and shared overlays. Each selected Look has separate landscape and portrait artwork, while stage feeds can reuse existing sources or create new camera, capture, media and browser inputs. Three shared alert layers per canvas support both new and copied saved layouts. Older saved native artwork must be replaced with correctly oriented Lumia browser sources.
The wizard suggests Chat Box Physics in shared layer 2 for each canvas, links to its Lumia marketplace listing and can fill the correct local browser URL. The Lumia bulb on Show Control explains importing templates, starting the countdown, running a chosen command when it reaches zero, and coordinating Chat Physics mode and camera clearances with Look changes. Optional landscape and portrait stingers can be added from local video files, with a cut point for each.
The four wizard pages, source controls, diagrams, logo and icons have been refined for first-time setup. The Overlay Designer now fits the available screen and scrolls its controls. The inactive header reads Stream idle and Recording idle.
Validation: native Windows build and 1,934 MotionAudit checks passed, including Lumia-only source validation, saved-layout replacement and orientation, shared layers and stinger creation. The isolated installation was updated without copying settings; the main installed copy was left unchanged during testing.
After installing, open Show Control → Control → Build my show…. Follow the Lumia setup prompts and check both canvases before starting a stream. The installer retains your configuration through its existing backup and recovery flow.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 — layout setup and retained chat panels
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 — layout setup and retained chat panels
This regular release brings the 1.14.2 preview improvements into the normal update channel. Build my show follows four pages: connect, choose stage groups, choose functional Looks and layout options, then assign sources and review both canvases. Broad options are available by default, with compatible saved layouts available for reuse. Portrait camera wrappers and browser viewports stay on their destination canvas.
Show Control supports named web chat panels alongside native Chat. Click the plain heading to switch panels; use the chat icon to add or manage a web link. Visited panels remain loaded, preserving drafts and scroll position. Each remembers its own page size. Lumia-specific view options appear only for Lumia links. Native chat events remain available for Action rules; selecting a web panel does not promise YouTube receiving-quota savings.
The layout wizard now assigns artwork separately for each Look and canvas. Countdown, Getting ready, BRB and Ending can use different Lumia templates within their shared Stage. Previously a group's Looks shared one artwork assignment. Generated Looks now show their own artwork and hide the others while preserving shared feed identities. Newly added browser overlays stay loaded while hidden so Look switches preserve their timer and widget state.
Extra overlays can target one selected Look, an entire selected stage group or all new layout Looks. This lets Newsroom appear only in its intended presentation. Deselecting an overlay's target prompts you to retarget or skip it instead of silently dropping the overlay.
Lumia template import links are rejected as browser URLs, with instructions to import the template and copy its browser link. Countdown minutes appear only for the built-in countdown; the guide explains that Lumia countdown duration comes from its start action. Setup guidance also explains when to add cameras and stingers, maps the published artwork families to their Looks, and makes clear that imported Fortnite helpers still need your own reward bindings and costs. The wizard initially sizes itself to the available screen.
Includes shared decoded stinger frames, preview/readiness refinements, companion plugin 1.4.4 with the previous Stage/Look undo action, and twelve shared landscape/portrait Lumia templates. The Show Control bulb opens setup guidance, including countdown and Stage-switch actions, optional Profounder stingers and user-owned reward bindings. Existing shows, saved layout presets and older shared-artwork requests remain compatible.
Validation: native build and 1,736 isolated motion/wizard checks, including separate BRB/Ending artwork on both canvases, visibility when switching Looks, overlay targeting, retained browser settings and transactional rejection of invalid assignments. Release assets contain application files and public templates, with no personal profiles, Lumia tokens, browser logins or local settings.
Separate-account Lumia template import and populated contributor Credits retain their existing testing limits.
Stop outputs and check Studio → Updates, or download PulseWeaver-Setup-1.14.2.exe below. Alpha opt-in is not required. Setup preserves configuration through the existing backup and recovery flow.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 alpha 8 — chat panels stay loaded
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 alpha 8 — chat panels stay loaded
Switching from a web chat panel to native Chat, another saved panel or another studio tab now preserves the visited page. Returning keeps its draft and scroll position instead of recreating the browser. This also keeps Lumia's focused Chatbox or Control Room loaded while you use other Pulse Weaver views.
Each visited panel retains its own browser and saved page size. Reload refreshes only the selected panel; removing a panel closes its page. Closing Pulse Weaver releases all retained pages. The existing plain white heading and generic chat icon menu remain the controls for switching and configuring panels.
Includes alpha 7's named chat panels, portrait wizard fixes, Lumia companion 1.4.4 and published wizard templates. Native chat events remain available for Action rules. Retained pages can continue receiving updates in the background and consume resources while the app is open.
Enable Studio → Updates → Include experimental alpha builds, stop outputs and check for updates. The installer preserves existing configuration through the established backup and recovery flow. No personal profiles, Lumia tokens, browser logins, camera settings or local connection settings are included.
Validation: native build, 311 ChatProviders checks, and isolated runtime checks preserving a draft, scroll position and Lumia's page instance across panel and tab switches. Camera decoding warnings are not fixed in this release.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 alpha 7 — named chat panels and portrait wizard fixes
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 alpha 7 — named chat panels and portrait wizard fixes
Show Control now supports independently named web chat panels inside its existing Chat card. Click the plain white heading to switch between native Chat and your saved panels. Click the chat icon and choose Add chat… to enter a name and web link. There is no heading dropdown or button box.
Each panel remembers its own link and page size. The icon menu offers editing, reload, browser opening and removal for the selected web panel. Lumia is supported through the same generic add flow; its view options appear only for a selected Lumia link. New Lumia panels use the focused Chatbox at a suitable size when that URL is supplied. Existing configured links and explicit sizes are preserved. Saved page size is reapplied after loading, including navigation between services.
The setup wizard now keeps portrait camera wrappers and browser viewports on their destination canvas. Landscape and portrait title/countdown artwork are assigned separately, and incompatible full-canvas browser sources are excluded from the corresponding choices. Reusable captures and source movement between Looks remain available.
The release retains the four-page setup flow, shared Lumia templates and companion plugin 1.4.4 from alpha 6. The updated template bundle includes the previously published Ending logo and portrait Breaking News alignment refinements. Chat panel selection controls the displayed page; native chat events remain available for Action rules, and this change does not promise YouTube receiving-quota savings.
Enable Studio → Updates → Include experimental alpha builds, stop outputs, then check for updates. Setup uses the existing verified backup and recovery flow and preserves your configuration during an upgrade. The release package contains application files, public template assets and setup guidance. It contains no personal profiles, account tokens, browser logins or local settings.
Validation includes native builds, generic chat preferences and lifecycle checks, wizard generation and canvas isolation, native panel switching and restart checks, installer payload/recovery tests and clean release audits. Separate-account Lumia template import and populated contributor Credits retain their existing testing limits.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 alpha 6 — setup wizard and Lumia overlays
Overlay update (11 October): the portrait Breaking News caption now sits inside the desk front, below the chrome top. Lumia share links are updated. For manual JSON imports, use PW-Wizard-Lumia-Assets-2026-10-11-r3.zip below; it also includes the bottom-left Ending logos.
Overlay update: Ending logos now default to the bottom-left in both formats. Lumia share links are updated. The latest r3 package also includes this fix.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 alpha 6 — setup wizard and Lumia overlays
Build my show now follows one four-page setup flow: connect Lumia, choose stage groups, choose functional Looks and their layout options, then assign sources and review both canvases. The broader options are available by default. Existing compatible saved layouts can be reused with their independent landscape and portrait framing.
- Choose Starting, Chat, Game, Projects, Celebration and Intermission independently.
- Choose functional Looks without creating extra Looks for camera treatments or branding options.
- Add a persistent Newsroom overlay, or a separate event-only news intro.
- Open Lumia setup guidance from the bulb beside the readiness status on Show Control, or from the wizard.
- Import twelve shared Lumia templates for Starting, Getting ready, BRB, Ending with native Credits, alerts with Fortnite challenges, and Newsroom. Each family has landscape and portrait versions with editable branding.
- Follow the countdown and Stage-switch instructions, connect your own Twitch rewards, and choose optional stingers through Profounder.
This release includes the existing alpha branch's Lumia undo action and companion plugin 1.4.4. It is an experimental alpha release; the regular release remains 1.14.1.
Enable Studio → Updates → Include experimental alpha builds, stop all outputs, then check for updates. The installer preserves configuration using the existing backup and recovery flow.
The template links import into Lumia. After import, copy each overlay's own browser link into Pulse Weaver. ALERT01-H includes seven command actions once: two chat controls and five disabled reward-code helpers. Users connect those helpers to their own Twitch Points rewards. Portrait playback should have one shared audio owner with landscape.
Validation covers native builds, wizard generation and rollback, saved layout preservation, motion behavior, update and installer checks, Lumia command tests, and clean release packaging. Separate-account Lumia import and populated contributor Credits remain to be tested. No live broadcast or reward was triggered during verification.
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 alpha 5 — chat footer spacing
Pulse Weaver 1.14.2 experimental alpha 5 — chat footer spacing
The chat status text above the destination selector and the Send to label now
have a matching 10-pixel left inset, aligning them with the text inside the chat
filter and message field. The status text also has 4 pixels of vertical padding
and a right inset for longer messages that wrap.
This alpha includes the themed show builder and other improvements from alpha 4.
Enable Studio → Updates → Include experimental alpha builds, stop outputs,
then check for updates. The installer uses the existing backup and restore flow
and bundles Lumia plugin 1.4.1.
Validation: native build succeeded; update-channel checks, 69 installer recovery
checks, 12 packaging-policy checks and all 16 Lumia plugin tests passed.
The matching padding was visually checked in the native app at a narrow chat width, including a wrapped status message. The packaged executable matches that tested build.
All four installer payload/migration/language/layout checks passed. An alpha 4 → alpha 5 → full restore using the separate alpha 4 recovery installer preserved all four synthetic configuration files and 2,234 original files byte for byte. The release archive contains no personal configuration, logs or debugging symbols, and the bundled Lumia package matches the separate asset.
