In this release, various IP address sources received reliability fixes and functional improvements.

netlink

  • Fixed a rare hang that might occur on startup.
  • Fixed a crash that could be triggered by address changes.
  • Gracefully handle -ENOBUFS, with new options for specifying socket send/receive buffer sizes.

ipapi

  • Improved compatibility with APIs that return trailing new-lines.
  • Dual-stack API hosts will now work correctly.
  • Added an option for specifying a custom User-Agent value.

General

  • All HTTP requests now contain a User-Agent header value that identifies ddns-go.
  • Release tarballs now employ GitHub's artifact attestations.
  • Upgraded to Go 1.26.2.
