  • The installers and genie's update check no longer call api.github.com, so they no longer fail with API rate limit exceeded for users who share a corporate IP.
  • Connections that genie verifies with rustls (the websocket transport, and HTTPS when GENIE_CA_CERTIFICATE or SSL_CERT_FILE is set) now reject certificates from the compromised eMudhra intermediate CAs.
