Cleaner audio behavior

  • Ambient sound stays steady through the final second, then stops exactly at zero before Classic or Bell plays.
  • Pause, reset, changing mode, turning Ambient off, and completion stop immediately.
  • Start, resume, and turning Ambient on fade in smoothly over one second.
  • Changing the number of simultaneous sounds crossfades for one second.

Better Steady Rain

Steady Rain was rebuilt from a cleaner, thunder-free part of the original recording. The new loop is loudness-matched with the rest of the sound library and wraps more naturally.

Dial polish

Fumé, Sunburst, Pyramid, Frost, and Wave have a subtle active-only visibility lift for bright rooms. The original None finish and the calm neutral-gray paused state remain unchanged.

81 source tests + effective 26/26 real-device checks passed on Android 17. A real five-minute completion confirmed normal sound through the final tick and an immediate stop at zero. Background countdown, freezer survival, audio consistency, deferred Ambient loading, rotation/fuzz, persisted settings, and no crash or ANR were also verified.
