First release of gitea_mcp: a local MCP server that connects Claude directly to a self-hosted Gitea instance over stdio, no hosted gateway in between. Installable via pipx/uv from this repo's git+https URL. 8 tools covering repos, issues, PRs, files, and commits. See README.md for setup.
