Hi,
Today I'm (finally) releasing VLC 5.1. There are many changes/fixes/additions this time around:
- Increased nested ESXi OS drive to 32Gb (vSphere 8 requirement, don't worry it's thin)
- Added function to detect and remediate vCLS VM's so they start appropriately
- Added functionality to upload vLCM image
- Added functionality to disable the vSAN HCL warning
- Added option to deploy Isolated Workload Domain
- Added 2 additional pNICs to nested ESXi hosts
- Additional NIC's are configured on a second VDS with VSAN traffic for MGMT and automated Cluster or WLD setups
- Changed DRS to Level 3 for mgmt-cluster-01
- Added extensibility to dynamically add additional VLAN networks and optional DHCP scopes for those networks
- Added functionality to check for proper startup of vCLS VM’s
- A sidecar script is included for use with expansion pack when creating a WLD or Cluster after the initial install by VLC. (vclsfix.ps1)
Fixes
- UI Validation Fixes – Added warning for blank Lab Gateway and DNS Fields
- Additional Changes for UI and headless with LabSKU
- Added logic for VIServer connection retries to eliminate error indicator if there was not an existing connection.
