Load balancers keep a tenant's own Gateway policy, and datumctl alb manages origin weights, load balancing and health checks.
What's new
- A tenant's Gateway policy is kept. NSO's BackendTrafficPolicy on a load balancer's route now merges into the one a tenant attaches to the Gateway, instead of replacing it, so the tenant's rate limit and circuit breaker keep working. NSO's fields win where both set the same one. (#584)
- Weights, load balancing and health checks in
datumctl alb. The CLI and the ALB assistant show and change each origin's weight, the load balancing algorithm and passive health checks, androute updatekeeps the weights of origins that stay. (#583) - Unverified domains refused in
datumctl alb.alb create --hostnameandalb hostname addrefuse a hostname whose domain is not verified yet, before writing anything. (#570)
No schema changes. Existing resources keep working without any conversion.
