I changed this to 2 GB in #19 by reading the platform config's
size_bytes, which describes only the ONBOARD system because that is thedefault
mig_prj. The board carries both: 2 GB onboard (HP banks,DDR3-1600, raw 12.8 GB/s) and an 8 GB SODIMM (HR banks, DDR3-800), each
calibrated and byte-exact on silicon 2026-07-30. 10 GB installed.
The original 8 GB was closer to right than my correction was.
