MonoBooth 2.0 📸 — Your own photo booth, free
Turn any Windows laptop with a webcam into a real photo booth for your wedding, party, or event. Press START, strike a pose for four shots, and your guests walk away with a classic 2×6 photo strip — the kind you'd normally rent for hundreds of dollars.
✨ What you get
- 🖥️ A big, full-screen booth with a live preview so guests can see themselves
- ⏱️ A fun "3 · 2 · 1 · Smile!" countdown before each of four photos
- 🖨️ A printed 2×6 photo strip — with a cutting photo printer, two copies so everyone gets one
- 💾 Every photo and strip saved to your computer (Pictures\MonoBooth) as a keepsake
- 🎨 Make it your own — drop in your event's background art and drag the preview and strip right where you want them
⬇️ How to install
- Download MonoBooth-Setup-2.0.0.exe below.
- Run it — it installs MonoBooth and adds a Start-menu shortcut. Nothing else to install.
- Plug in your webcam (and a photo printer, if you have one).
- Turn on camera access: Settings → Privacy & security → Camera → "Let desktop apps access your camera."
- Open MonoBooth, press START, and smile! Press Esc to close the booth.
✅ What you'll need
- A Windows 10 or 11 computer (most laptops from the last few years are perfect)
- A webcam — built-in or USB
- Optional: a photo printer (a 2×6-capable model like the Kodak 6850 gives the full photo-booth experience). No printer? It still saves every photo.
💡 Tips
- Set the booth PC to never sleep so it's ready all night.
- Want a branded booth? Point BackgroundImagePath in the settings file at your own image, then drag the preview and strip into place — your layout saves automatically.
❤️ MonoBooth was first built in 2011 for a wedding and rebuilt from the ground up in 2026. It's free — enjoy your event!
