3. shape

A typed record — one of Velle's two structural nouns. The other, act (## 4), is a shape whose instances can also arrive from outside the system; a shape alone is one only rules create. Replaces objects, functions, and constructors, since all three reduce to "a set of typed properties" — an interaction is an act whose consequences are rules (## rule), not a function call.
