In-game custom capes: your local custom cape now renders in-game through the Vermeil companion mod, installed automatically for supported instances.
Cape support across Minecraft 1.8.9 (Forge), 1.21–1.21.1, 1.21.11, and 26.1–26.2.
Animated custom capes (GIF/APNG/WebP) play both in the cape editor and in-game.
Custom cape editor: position and scale your art, pick a resolution up to HD, set a background color, and preview the cape as an unfolded net.
A single in-game cape toggle that stays in sync across supported instances, with click-to-equip from the Skins screen.
Instance cards show a badge when the companion mod supports that instance.
Changed
Launcher data is now stored in your local app data directory instead of the roaming profile.
Fixed
Custom capes render crisp at the resolution you choose, matching the editor preview.
Browse search retries transient network failures instead of showing an error.
The game window reliably comes to the front on launch, even when it isn't maximized.
You can’t perform that action at this time.
