The first release of Telegrive: your Telegram account as a drive with no storage limit, with photo backup. Your files go to a private channel on your own account, and Telegrive gives you a file manager on top. There's no new account to make and no Telegrive server.

Which file to download

  • Android, most phones: telegrive-1.0.0-arm64-v8a.apk
  • Android, older phones: telegrive-1.0.0-armeabi-v7a.apk
  • Chromebooks and emulators: telegrive-1.0.0-x86_64.apk
  • iPhone: telegrive-1.0.0.ipa, installed with Sideloadly, SideStore or AltStore and your own Apple Account. Follow the iPhone guide; it shows every step.

telegrive-1.0.0.aab is the same Android app as a bundle for app stores; you don't need it. SHA256SUMS.txt lists every file's checksum.

What's in it

  • Room for everything. Files of any size: ones bigger than Telegram allows in one message go up in parts and are joined again when you open them.
  • Photo backup in full quality, on its own while the phone charges, with Free up space to clear what's safely backed up.
  • Bring your Google Photos from a Google Takeout download, with dates, albums and favorites.
  • A real file manager: folders, stars, albums, a photo timeline, and a trash that keeps things for 30 days. Every change can be undone.
  • Search by name, by date and by the words inside PDFs and scanned pages.
  • Watch and read without downloading: videos and music play as they load, and PDFs open page by page.
  • Works offline, easy on mobile data, and private: app lock, an encrypted cache, and Telegrive never shows you as online.

On iPhone

The iPhone app opens the same drive. Photo backup runs while the app is open, and the Google Photos import, watched folders, the document scanner and sharing in from other apps aren't on iPhone yet. Apps installed this way need a refresh once a week; the guide shows how.
