We're thrilled to announce the release of GCASP v2.0.0 (Gaming Capture Application & Social Platform), which transforms our recording tool into a true social platform. This major update introduces a complete suite of social features that allow users to share their best moments with friends and the community.
New Social Features
- User Authentication: Create your own GCASP account with secure login and registration
- Cloud Uploads: Upload your favorite clips directly to the GCASP platform
- Shared Video Feed: Browse, discover, and watch clips from other GCASP users
- User Profiles: Manage your account, track uploaded content, and customize your experience
- Friend System: Add friends to your network and easily find their content
- Shareable Links: Generate links to your clips that anyone can view, even without an account
- Offline Mode: Continue using local recording features even without logging in
System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 10/11
- Dependencies: FFmpeg (Must be installed and in your system PATH)
- Storage: 200 MB for application, additional space for recordings
- Internet Connection: Required for social features (optional for local recording)
Installation
Download the GCASP-v2.0.0-Installer folder, then run the GCASP-2.0.0 Setup.exe file and follow the installation wizard. If you're upgrading from v1.0.0, your settings and local clips will be preserved.
