@davidcoulson davidcoulson released this 19 Oct 15:56

Fixes the package build so assets/ (the plugin icon) is included in the ZIP. v0.3.x releases from earlier today left it out. No other changes.

Adds a plugin icon for Community Plugins and Browse plugins. No other changes.

v0.3.1

What the Stripper is trimming now reads as a list, one item per line and in words — it was a comma-separated run of API keys wrapping across three ragged lines.

v0.3.0

@davidcoulson davidcoulson released this 15 Sep 18:53

Readable figures: 12.9 MB rather than 13483830 B, 7m 8s rather than 428 s. The published values are unchanged and still in base units — the rescaling happens in the display, so the Home Assistant statistics underneath stay coherent. Needs a Kiosk Satellite build that understands the data_size and duration device classes.

Renames three entities. The traffic totals now read in the order they happen — Data from Home Assistant, Data trimmed, Data forwarded — so from = trimmed + forwarded is obvious. Home Assistant derives entity ids from names, so these arrive as new entities and the three old ones are left behind as unavailable; delete them from Settings → Devices & services → Entities.

v0.2.1

@davidcoulson davidcoulson released this 15 Sep 18:27

The Stripper state sensor now agrees with the status tile: 0.2.0 gave 401 and 403 their own tile wording but left both folding into error on the entity, so the panel said "Needs an access token" while an automation watching the sensor saw a fault.

States are now trimming, in path, idle, direct, needs a token, refused, unreachable and error — the last meaning only a genuinely unexpected reply.

v0.2.0

@davidcoulson davidcoulson released this 15 Sep 17:29

The status endpoint requires a Home Assistant access token from Stripper 2026.09.15.25 onward, and answers 401 without one — which 0.1.0 reported as "something unexpected" on a panel that was in fact being trimmed normally.

  • Access token setting, sent as Authorization: Bearer. Leave empty for an older Stripper. Masked on the settings row.
  • 401 and 403 are their own states, and both are positive detections: the reply came from the proxy, so it is in the path.
  • Shorter tile, leading with the figure that matters: 80% dropped · 214 entities. A panel with no proxy in front of it reads Disabled.

v0.1.0

@davidcoulson davidcoulson released this 15 Sep 13:45

First release. Reports what the HA WebSocket Stripper is doing in front of this panel: a status tile on the Overview, and entities for the figures behind it. Read-only; no root or Shizuku.
