Compatibility

  • Support Laravel MCP 1.x, verified with v1.0.2.
  • Verify compatibility with Laravel AI v1.2.3, including executing a Nova catalog tool through the AI SDK adapter. Laravel AI remains optional for package consumers.
  • Cover the current MCP discovery protocol while retaining legacy initialization coverage.

Breaking changes

  • Laravel 11 is no longer supported. This release requires Laravel 12 or 13.
  • Laravel MCP 0.9 is no longer supported; Laravel MCP 1.x is required.

PHP 8.3+ and a licensed Laravel Nova 5 installation are still required.

Testing and development

  • Run the full feature suite and lint across Laravel 12 and 13 on PHP 8.3, 8.4, and 8.5.
  • All six combinations pass 59 tests and 187 assertions, including the Laravel AI adapter test.
  • Add repeatable Amp orb setup with cached PHP and JavaScript dependencies and in-memory Nova package authentication.
