Changed

White is the accent now, everywhere, rather than whatever colour Windows is set to.

Every window in this app is a frame around colour the hardware is producing. A coloured
accent competes with that, and on the layout canvas it does worse than compete: a blue
selection ring beside a blue LED reads as part of the same picture instead of as chrome.
White has no such reading. Everything that sits on top of the accent, which is button
labels, the tick in a checkbox, the knob of a switch and selected text, is now dark.

Each effect in the gallery animates behind its own name. It is not a picture of what the
effect does: it is the effect, running, using the colours and speed you have that effect set
to. A wave really travels, a ripple really spreads, the status lamps really light in turn.
Nothing can drift out of step with the real thing, because there is only one implementation
of each.

They are deliberately quiet. Each one is a soft wash rather than a row of cells, faded
towards the corner where the name sits, and every colour eases into the next rather than
jumping. That last part matters more than it sounds: a flash is meant to be abrupt and a
heat map jumps with every key, and at full speed in a small rectangle behind a label those
read as flickering rather than as character.

Three effects need a microphone, the screen, or a live OBS connection, and opening any of
those to animate a tile would be a plainly bad trade. Those show a stand-in that moves the
way they do, in their own colours.

Selected rows in a list are now marked with an outline rather than filled. A solid white
block in the middle of a list shouts far louder than a selection needs to.
