0.2.25
Exact cuts, and thumbnails in copied projects.
- Exports place every clip on exact frames, so there is no black frame at a cut, also around clips that zoom or move.
- The timeline shows thumbnails and waveforms in a copied project (they used to point at the original's files).
0.2.24
No more black frames at cuts.
- Exports no longer show a single black frame before a cut when a clip starts between two frames; every clip now starts and ends on a whole frame.
0.2.23
Transitions no longer move the rest of the track.
- A crossfade or other transition now overlaps the two clips using spare footage at their edges, so the clips after it stay where they were and stay in sync with music and voice. Only when neither clip has spare footage does the track move, and Cue says so.
0.2.22
Pin titles and graphics onto moving surfaces.
- Motion graphics (titles, words, callouts) can now be pinned onto a motion track or follow one, so type sits on a wall or rides along with something moving.
0.2.21
Clearer failures, lighter contact sheets.
- When an export or any encode fails because the disk is full or a file is missing or damaged, Cue says so in one sentence instead of showing ffmpeg's log.
- Contact sheets and motion-track reviews are sent to agents as JPEG, so big sheets (up to 60 frames) arrive instead of breaking the connection.
0.2.20
Music composed to an edit's structure works again.
- generate_music with sections now uses ElevenLabs' current composition format, so a piece can be made part by part (intro, build, drop) to the edit's timing.
0.2.19
Motion tracking and corner pin.
- Track a green screen, a flat surface or anything that moves, then pin a clip onto it (a recording onto a laptop screen, a picture onto a wall) or make a title follow it. Tracks run both ways from every set of corners you give, show how sure they are, and are fixed by giving the right corners where they slip.
- Agents track too (track_motion, apply_track, review_track), and check their work with a review image of the tracked corners.
- The timeline shows which clips are keyed, tracked and pinned, and links them; the Inspector puts the corner pin and tracker first.
- Chroma keys now remove green or blue spill on the edges.
- Seedance goes to Higgsfield even with a fal key stored, and Kling and Hailuo switch to Higgsfield when a fal key stops working.
- Images can be made from reference pictures (same person, place or style), and music can be composed section by section to an edit's structure.
- Fixed: exports of clips with many keyframes, clips generated at the same moment sharing a start picture, and saving one key erasing others when the key file couldn't be read.
0.2.18
Seedance 2.0 video and photographic stills.
- Seedance 2.0 in the Video clip tool and for agents when Higgsfield is connected: lifelike people and camera motion, 1080p, up to 15 seconds.
- generate_image takes a model and quality, so agents can ask for GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst at high quality when a still has to look photographed.
0.2.17
Agents review a whole edit in seconds.
- New contact_sheet tool: up to 60 frames of the edit in one image, spread over a range or at chosen times, so agents check pacing and framing without exporting.
0.2.16
Video clips through Higgsfield work end to end.
- Starting a clip from a picture or the frame at the playhead uploads correctly to Higgsfield.
- Any start picture is fitted to a standard frame first, so models don't reject its size.
- A dropped connection while a clip renders no longer fails it: Cue asks again and downloads it when it's ready.
