You may want something to launch automatically on boot. The Raspberry Pi is a Linux system and has many different places you can use to configure things to launch on boot.
Some of the options:
-
/etc/rc.local- edit the file and add what you want before theexitline -
crontab- The root user can use the @reboot line to autolaunch something. -
systemd- the proper way of launching and managing (stop, start, restart, status) a command. - [
/home/pi/.config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart] - launch an app in the desktop environment.
