Bug Fixes
- Portrait photos from phones now keep their correct orientation when converted (EXIF orientation applied on decode)
- Max Width/Height now act as a cap only — smaller images are never upscaled
- Batch output filenames can no longer collide: duplicate names are uniquified safely instead of overwriting each other
- Saving a preset under an existing name updates it in place instead of creating a duplicate
- Removed legacy built-in preset entries that conflicted with saved presets
- WebP files can now be selected in the file picker (drag-and-drop already worked)
- Resize dimensions above 32,767 px are no longer misread as Auto
- Folder-picker write check no longer risks touching a real user file
Improvements
- Faster repeat processing — the conversion engine is reused between runs
- Stability and memory-safety fixes in the WebP encoder
