Log Insights, a new tab on the Logs page. One read of a window shows event
categories with their frequent message templates, and the auto_explain plans
grouped by statement and plan shape. The plan tree marks a sequential scan of a
large table, a row estimate off by orders of magnitude and a sort that went to
disk. Comparison against an earlier window lists the statements whose plans got
worse, the query report opens the plans of one statement, and an empty result
names what to switch on.
Needs a configured log source and auto_explain on the cluster. Group paging,
plan trees and window comparison read a saved scan: those need the storage
section, and a saved scan is dropped by the daily cleanup.
