v0.2.3
-
Added Reed-Solomon frame-level FEC so newly encoded videos can tolerate a small amount of localized capture noise.
-
Improved frame inspection with multiple binarization variants, which makes decode diagnostics and recovery more resilient on skewed or unevenly lit captures.
-
Reworked video-size estimation to sample multiple real frames instead of repeating one frame, so the estimate is closer to the final output.
-
Updated the release workflow to publish the tag annotation as the release body, which removes the auto-generated Full Changelog line and lets each release show a clean hand-written summary.
-
The new frame-level FEC only applies to videos encoded with v0.2.3 or later; older recordings still decode with the legacy fallback path.
-
README now documents the new estimate caveats and the added frame-level error correction.
