What's new

hass-engie-be v0.9.0 changes all entity IDs from customer account number (CAN) to business agreement number (BAN) format and requires a full reinstall of that integration. Previously, this would also force a full reinstall of Belgium Energy Costs — losing all your contract dates, cost components, and baseline readings.

Added

  • 📡 Update ENGIE Sensors — a new option in the integration's Configure menu lets you re-select your ENGIE price sensors in seconds after upgrading hass-engie-be, without touching anything else.

Upgrading from hass-engie-be v0.8.x to v0.9.0

  1. Remove and reinstall hass-engie-be (required by that integration)
  2. In Belgium Energy Costs → Configure📡 Update ENGIE Sensors
  3. Pick your new sensors (look for Electricity peak offtake price, Electricity off-peak offtake price, Gas offtake price)
  4. Save — the integration reloads automatically
